The entirely new landscape includes planting, irrigation, gates, fences, walkways, pool & spa. The clients were enthusiastic about the design of the gates and fences which mirror elements in this new craftsman style house.

The clients wanted low water using landscape using a natural planting palette. The front yard has a fescue lawn for the green feel and colorful drought tolerant and native plantings as the major plantings. The pool uses cut stone and no decking to contribute to the feel of a natural pond.

The rear landscape features a series of raised planters for the client's vegetable garden and an herb garden wheel set in surrounds of drought tolerant shrubs and herbs. The use of stone and boulders combined with the plants planned to attract wildlife provides the clients with the sensation of natural sourrindings in the heart of Northridge.
